Nutmeg

The Fragrant Seed

The Heritage & Harvest

Nutmeg is the aromatic seed of an evergreen tropical tree and has been treasured for centuries in culinary spice traditions. The whole seed is dried and used in very small quantities for its warm, rounded perfume.

What Makes It Special

Nutmeg naturally contains aromatic oils, including myristicin and sabinene. Its character is concentrated, so a restrained amount provides warmth without dominating delicate flowers.

The Cup

A warm golden infusion with sweet-woody spice notes and a softly lingering finish.
